Air Service Marketing
NOTE: Air service to Mammoth Lakes for the 20/21 winter season is paused until at least February 11 for Advanced Airlines. United Airlines service is postponed until next season.
Visitors who fly to Mammoth Lakes stay longer and spend more money. These guests can be a great asset to your business and are valuable to our community. Your business can promote flights to Mammoth Lakes with these simple tools. Simply add the copy provided to your marketing program, where applicable.
Travel Information or Getting Here Page
VisitMammoth.com's "Flight" page is within the top 10 pages viewed on our website. If your website has a page dedicated to travel information for your guests, the page will help further build awareness about air service. Copy and paste the following air service messaging to the top of your dedicated travel page before talking about other options, such as driving:
Mammoth Yosemite Airport is only 10 minutes away making travel to Mammoth Lakes even easier. Connect to Mammoth Lakes from dozens of cities across the U.S. and internationally via year-round flights from Los Angeles (LAX) and seasonally from Burbank, Carlsbad, Denver, Hawthorne, and San Francisco.
A number of car rental agencies and shuttles provide ground transportation from the Mammoth Yosemite Airport. Or check with your individual hotel to see if complimentary transportation from the airport is available.
Once you've booked your trip, track your flight here.
If you own a lodging property that provides free airport transfers, this should be integrated into the messaging.
Groups & Meeting Pages
All airlines currently operating to Mammoth Lakes provide group and meeting rates. In some cases, these airlines will negotiate generous discounts for large groups, depending on time of day, day of the week and season. Copy and paste the following information to promote and communicate group travel options:
Traveling with a group or planning a meeting? Find attractive group pricing options for parties of 10 or more. Whether you're planning a ski club trip, wedding or corporate retreat to Yosemite, be sure to inquire about group booking options with United Airlines (year round) or Advanced Air (seasonal).
Air Service Messaging for "On Hold" Calls and Phone Reservations
If your property has a hold messaging for callers, add a hold message to promote air service to Mammoth Lakes using this script:

If you are a lodging property that provides free airport transfers, this should be integrated into the messaging.
Air Service Messaging for Booking Confirmation Pages and Emails
One of the easiest ways to build awareness of air service is by adding the following messages to your reservation confirmation pages:
Getting here is easy with Mammoth Yosemite Airport (MMH)!
Fly to Mammoth Lakes year round.
