The Mammoth Lakes Tourism website, VisitMammoth.com, was awarded the Destiny Award for Best Destination Website in the country at U.S. Travel Association’s Educational Seminar for Tourism Organizations (ESTO). Seattle, Washington D.C. and Bucks County in Pennsylvania were included in the list of runners up for the award.
This year’s award judges commented that VisitMammoth.com the website redesign, launched in April 2016, played a big role in the decision to choose Mammoth Lakes Tourism as the winner for Best Destination Website.
“The destination brand really comes through, and hits all the right notes,” judges said. “Users seem to respond well to the optimizations. We thought Mammoth Lakes did an excellent job developing their unified website and brand by clearly integrating the needs of their target audiences.
“From the content to the visual cues, everything points back to an authentic destination brand with very clear experiences to offer consumers. The homepage in particular makes you feel like you’ve just jumped into an exciting outdoor adventure vacation.”
In addition to the Destiny Award for Best Destination Website, VisitMammoth.com was awarded an Outstanding Website Award from the Web Marketing Association in its 2017 WebAwards Competition.
The Association’s award programs recognize the people and organizations responsible for developing the most effective online marketing programs on the Internet today.
